Suicide blast leaves 9 dead in Kabul

KABUL (Web Desk) - At least nine people were killed and 12 others were wounded suicide attack in Kabul on Monday.

According to the TOLO News the incident occurred when a suicide bomber detonated his explosive vest near the Public Order and Border Forces base in Deh Mazang area of Kabul city.

Most of the victims were civilians.

The suicide bomber wanted to enter the base but when the security guards at the gate became suspicious the bomber detonated his suicide vest, Kabul Ministry of Information added.

According to a UN report, 6,000 security incidents occurred in the country between August and October last year, killing and wounding more than 3,600 civilians.
