VIDEO: Man beaten to death in broad daylight in India

NEW DELHI (Web Desk) - A man was beaten to death in broad daylight on a public road by four men in Kerala's capital Thiruvananthapuram, TOI reported.

According to Times of India, the incident happened on Sunday when the victim, 23-year-old Shabeer, was going on a motorcycle with his friend riding pillion. He was suddenly stopped by four people who began thrashing the duo mercilessly with sticks.

Video footage showed, Shabeer left his motorcycle and started running but was chased by three of the men who pushed him down on the road and kept beating him with sticks.



The video of the entire act was shot on camera and uploaded on Facebook; it has been viewed more than 1,73,000 till Monday evening. The video has also been shared more than 12,000 times.

According to reports, Shabeer was witness to a crime committed by the four men last year. The accused brutally thrashed him as revenge.

The police say they have identified the suspects based on the video footage. The four men are currently in hiding, but will soon be caught, the police said.
