ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – PPP senior leader Syed Sumsam Ali Bukhari Wednesday tendered resignation over what he called PPP’s “unnecessary support to the ruling party PML-N.”
Former state minister Bukhari was PPP’s Punjab chapter vice President.
After tendering resignation from the basic membership of the PPP, he forwarded his resignation to Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
“PPP’s needless support to the PML-N has damaged the party in Punjab,” he wrote in his resignation’s letter.
Reportedly, Bukhari along with some other PPP stalwarts is likely to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
