Punjab govt spox condemns sexist remarks of Rana Sana, Tallal Chaudhry

LAHORE – The spokesperson of Punjab government, Malik Ahmad Khan has condemned the lewd remarks passed by Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leaders against female workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

According to media reports, the politician stated that such remarks should not be used for women who come out of their homes for political activities, irrespective of their affiliation.

Commenting on PTI leader Shibli Faraz’s harsh commentary, Khan said everyone should take care of language used on national media.

The spokesperson continued that out of  11 points laid down by PTI chief Imran Khan, 10 were of the provincial level, questioning the performance of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.

Rana Sanaullah had expressed in a media interaction on Monday that the women who attended the PTI rally were not from honourable families because their dance moves implied where they had actually come from.

Moreover, Talllal Chaudhry had also targeted Bushra Maneka, the third wife of PTI supremo Imran Khan, over her veil.
