Gold prices in Lahore surge to yearly high

LAHORE – Gold prices in the provincial capital Lahore surged to a yearly high after an increase of Rs. 300 per tola was observed in prices on Tuesday (today).

According to sarafa (gold) market officials, the price for 24 karat gold was recorded at Rs. 53,100, which is the highest price of gold for the year 2016.

24 Karat Gold was traded at Rs. Rs. 48,675 while 21 Karat Gold priced at Rs. 46,462.

The price increase has only been recorded in Lahore.
