Islamabad (Staff Report) – The Pakistan Stock Exchange would be launched on January 1, 2016.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, Chairman Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Zafar Hejazi said the stock exchange would be a landmark achievement in the history of Pakistan.
He said merger of the country’s three stock exchanges has been approved by the Competition Commission of Pakistan.
The mega stock exchange will benefit the businessmen, investors and shareholders at the same time, he added.
