MUZAFFARABAD – Police claim to have arrested a most wanted commander of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) during a search operation in Rawalakot area of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
On a tip-off, the police and intelligence agency personnel raided a hideout on Thursday in Rawalakot area in and arrested TTP commander identified as Kashif Hanif.
According to Security department, the suspect was involved in attacks on security forces and in bombs attacks at various locations. The detainee was also wanted in various attacks on security agencies in 2010.
The police seized a Kalashnikov rifle and hand-grenades after the clash. The suspect has been shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.-Online
