LAHORE- Bollywood star Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor have been all over the news after they made their relationship ‘Instagram official’ while vacationing in New York for the latter’s 34th birthday.

In a recent interview, Malaika revealed how she felt about something everyone has been eager to find out – the age-difference between the two, reported Pinkvilla.
“The age difference doesn’t really pop up when you are in a relationship. It is about two minds and hearts connecting. Unfortunately, we live in a society that refuses to progress with time,” she said during the interview.
Malaika continued speaking on her feelings towards some societal views towards the pair. “An older man romancing a younger girl is hailed everywhere, but when the woman is older, she’s called ‘desperate’ and a buddhi (old). For people who think like this, I have just one line: Take a flying f***.”
Malaika was previously married to the Hello Brother actor Arbaaz Khan. After ending her relationship with the Bollywood actor-director she found her happiness with Arjun who also happens to be 11-years younger to her.
When asked about finding love again after getting divorced, Malaika said, “It feels amazing! When my marriage ended, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to be in another relationship and was scared of being heartbroken. But I also wanted to be in love, nurture a relationship, and this new me gave me the confidence to put myself out there and take a chance. I am so glad I did!”
