Japan announces contribution of 16 million for Afghan refugees

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Japan has announced a contribution of sixteen million dollars to support returnees in Federally Administered Tribal Areas and Afghan refugees in Pakistan under the UN umbrella.

This was announced by Japanese Chargé d’Affaires in Pakistan Junya Matsuura and UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator Neil Buhne in Islamabad today.

Japan has been supporting sustainable return of Temporally Displaced Persons and FATA rehabilitation for stability of the region.
