DG WTO Roberto Azevedo calls on PM Nawaz

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan is working on execution of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and promotion of coordination among the regional countries in full-swing.

Talking to Director General World Trade Organization (WTO) Roberto Azevedo, the Prime Minister said work on regional connectivity and CPEC is going on expeditiously. He said development in basic infrastructure will bolster trade in the region.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said improved law and order situation has led to economic stability in the country.

Nawaz Sharif emphasized that Pakistan is improving trade related laws and wants enhanced partnership with WTO. He said the trade laws will help delivery of goods at international level.

The DG WTO thanked the Prime Minister for his welcome and said Pakistan is best place for trade and investment.
