Supreme Court to resume hearing of Panama Papers case tomorrow

ISLAMABAD – A five-member larger bench of the Supreme Court (SC) headed by Chief Justice Mr Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali will resume hearing of the Constitution Petitions regarding Panama Papers in Islamabad on Thursday.

All the respondents will submit their comments regarding the formation of a commission to investigate the Panama Papers issue.

On the occasion, strict security arrangements have been made by the apex court itself for proper court decorum and smooth hearing of the case in courtroom number one.

Due to limited seating capacity, the court administration has announced that the entry would be regulated through special security passes.

Only the petitioners or respondents whose cases are fixed in court will be allowed to enter the premises.

However, advocates and journalists, who regularly come for the Supreme Court proceedings, will be exempted.
