MASHKEL – Iranian border forces fired at a car, injuring one Pakistani man, for crossing over into Iranian territory in the Mashkel area, police said.
Iranian forces took into custody two other people who were in the car, local media reported.
According to the police sources, the car entered Iranian territory at night by mistake.
The injured man was taken to a local hospital in Mashkel.
Media reports further suggested that negotiations were underway to secure the return of the captured Pakistanis.
