Radd-ul-Fassad: 11 BRA militants held in Balochistan

QUETTA – At least 11 terrorists belonging to banned Baloch Republican Army (BRA) have been arrested during search operations carried out by security forces in different areas of Balochistan, the Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR) said on Sunday.

According to a statement issued by the military’s media wing, the militants were arrested in Sanni Shoran area south of Sibbi during intelligence-based operations conducted by Balochistan Frontier Corps, Levies force and intelligence agencies.

“A cache of arms and ammunition recovered through an IBOs in Ilyasi Nullah, Dera Bugti and Dukki,” it stated.

In another intelligence-based operation conducted in Qila Saifullah, four improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were recovered and later diffused by the security forces.

The operations were the part of the on-going military operation, Radd-ul-Fassad, which was launched to eradicate terrorism from the country.
