MUMBAI (Web Desk) – Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is not a big fan of “commercialized award functions.” But this year her performance in ‘Queen’ received much appreciation and also won her the Best Actor (Female) honor at the 60th Britannia Filmfare Awards ceremony. When she was asked to share her emotions on winning the award, she said that “it feels great to be acknowledged.”
Kangana says the “acknowledgment” confirmed the fact that she made her mark.
“It feels great. I think that event I’m here for also talks about making your mark and last night (at the Filmfare Awards), I think in a way the kind of respect and acknowledgment that my film got, also literally meant making your mark.”
Indian media also reported that evergreen beauty Rekha went especially to give the award to Kangana at 3:00 a.m. in the night.
