RAWALPINDI (Staff Report) – The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif Wednesday inspected the different newly constructed roads in southern Balochistan’s city of Hoshab, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
In this connection, the army chief also held a meeting with Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai, provincial Chief Secretary in Pasni.
According to DG ISPR Lt-General Asim Saleem Bajwa, the Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) has completed construction of 632kms roads as part of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in last 1.5 years while the full road is extended to a length of 870kms.
The roads are being constructed through joint efforts of Pakistan army’s engineering corps and FWO with a great pace and quality, he said.
