Amidst rumors of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit… and much later, even Ranbir Kapoor hosting the up and coming season 9 of Kaun Banega Crorepati, the truth has finally been revealed!
Big B is set to return to our television screens with the next season of KBC as its host. The actor took to his blog on Tumblr to make the announcement.
“KBC has gracefully agreed to reappear and in doing so has coerced me into recording the Registration Questions for the contest to be on air by August-September! This year!“
He also shared the official shoot for the upcoming show and took to Twitter about his return:

We certainly can’t deny how pretty darn addictive KBC was with Amitabh Bachchan as the host! His ‘Lock kiya jaye‘ is no longer a catchphrase anymore but now part and parcel of proper desi speech. Even Shah Rukh Khan can’t deny the presence that Amitabh Bachchan had on the show.
We just can’t wait to see Amitabh Bachchan return on set!
