PESHAWAR (Web Desk) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Tuesday expelled MPA Javed Naseem from the group over his persistent refusal to support party’s candidates in the Senate elections, due on March 5.
According to PTI spokesperson Shireen Mazari, an application has also been forwarded to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly speaker for his disqualification as a parliamentarian.
Meanwhile, dozens of workers of PTI staged a protest demonstration in Peshawar against the rebel MPA. Agitated activists laid siege to the house of Naseem and chanted slogans against him. They pelted his house with eggs and burned his effigy.
