ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Second round of talks between foreign secretaries of Pakistan and India is underway in Islamabad here on Tuesday.
As per sources, Indian External Affairs Secretary Subrahmanyam Jaishankar and Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry are holding discussion on bilateral relations and matters pertaining to SAARC.
“During the first round of talks, the two sides discussed contentious issues including Jammu and Kashmir, Siachen, Sir Creek and other bilateral issues” sources further disclosed.
They discussed ways to resume the dialogue process between the two countries to move forward for resolution of outstanding issues.
The Indian External Affairs secretary also held a meeting with Special Assistant to Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi after the first round of secretary level talks.
