DUBAI – All-rounder Shahid Afridi will not be playing Pakistan Super League (PSL-2017) final in Lahore on Sunday due to a hand injury he sustained during the 3rd playoff against Karachi Kings here on Friday in Dubai.
He was injured while attempting to catch a drive from Kieron Pollard off Hassan Ali at covers at a catchable height.
Afridi confirmed in a video message that he would not be entertaining Lahori’s through his master strokes in final contest.

According to sources, Afridi was immediately rushed for the first aid and received 12 stitches to his right hand. He has been advised to take rest for 10 days.
