According to several sources, a movie is being made that centers around Pakistani actress and diva Meera Irtiza. The film which is being directed by ad-maker, Saqib Malik will also be his big directorial debut on the silver screen.
In an interview with The Express Tribune, Malik stated that the film was not entirely a biopic of Meera, “Its actually a social drama catering to multi characters, we are not on shoot, it’s just rumour mills as we have been doing rehearsal for film, can’t reveal much now, I will make an official announcement soon.”

However, the film’s story line does take inspiration from Meera’s life such as her rise to stardom within the industry. According to rumours, it also will feature her infamous sex-tape which led to the actress’s downfall in the industry.
According to sources, although the film, may be regarded as a multi-genre film, it is predominantly a thriller.

And although the title has not yet been confirmed, the cast includes the likes of Mawra Hocane, Osman Khalid Butt, Ali Kazmi, Nayyer Aejaz and Meera among others.
