KARACHI – Gold prices plunged by Rs1,100 per tola in domestic market of Pakistan amid downward trend in the international market on Thursday.

Data shared by All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association showed per tola gold price settled at Rs274,400.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram decreased by Rs943 to reach Rs235,254.
In international market, the price of the yellow metal decreased by $11 to settle at $2,642 per ounce.
The price of per tola and ten gram silver remained constant at Rs.3,050 and Rs.2,614.88, respectively.
A day earlier, the per tola price of 24 karat gold increased by Rs600 and was sold at Rs275,500 on Wednesday.
The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also increased by Rs515 to Rs236,197.
