LAHORE (Web Desk) – Punjab government backpedaled on its false claims that a kid died after being stuck in a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) rally.
Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah was poised to set up cases against demonstrators over the alleged death of a child who was stuck in gridlock caused by protest rally, Samaa TV reported.
When media diverted his attention to the fact that the child was safely transported to the hospital where the child was said to be out of danger, Rana Sanaullah accepted that the child was safe.
The Punjab Law Minister said the Punjab government will lodge a terrorism case against the PTI leaders, if the child’s consents to do so.
The Punjab government spokesman also said the government will file a case against the protesters.
According to doctors the child is out of danger now at Mayo Hospital.
