Govinda is slammed by Kader Khan s son for calling the late actor a father figure

LAHORE – Veteran Bollywood actor-director-writer-comedian and a Quran scholar, Kader Khan passed away this week after a prolonged illness. He breathed his last at a hospital in Toronto, Canada, a family member said, reported Hindustan Times.

The 81-year-old is survived by his wife Hajra, son Sarfaraz, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren. According to a close relative Ahmed, the Chhote Sarkar passed away around 4 am (IST).

Khan was reportedly suffering from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a degenerative disease that causes loss of balance, difficulty in walking and dementia.

Bollywood star Govinda wrote a note on twitter for the late actor.

Govinda was soon slammed by late Kader Khan’s son for showing fake remorse now even though he never checked up on the old actor despite calling him a “father figure”

“Please ask Govinda how many times he inquired about his father figure’s health. Has he even bothered to call us even once after my father’s passing away? This is the way our film industry has become”.

Sarfaraz Khan went to add that there is no real affection left in the film industry for these legends who have contributed largely to the world of cinema. He highlighted the act of getting clicked with these veterans and posting them on social media as the only way of showing respect.

“There are no real feelings for those who have contributed to Indian cinema when they’re no longer active. The top guns may be seen getting clicked with these retired veterans. But the affection goes only as far as photographs. No more. Look at the condition in which Lalita Pawarji and Mohan Chotiji died. Luckily, my father had three sons to look after him. What about those who die with no financial and emotional support?”

RIP, you legend!
