PM, Shahbaz not to cast votes in Senate elections

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif will not be casting their votes in the senate elections, scheduled to be held on March 5, as they flew to Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.

Federal Minister for Finance and Monetary affairs Ishaq Dar, along with Premier’s special advisor Tariq Fatemi and Irfan Siddiquee, is also accompanying them on a three day visit to the kingdom.

On the other hand Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is all set to hold the polling in all constitutional assemblies on Thursday.

The premier will also perform Umrah, additional to holding meetings with the Royal family, during his visit.
