Man throws shoe at Sheikh Rasheed in Lahore

LAHORE – A shoe was hurled at Awami Muslim League leader Sheikh Rashid Ahmed at Lahore railway station on Saturday.

The AML chief was leaving after a brief interaction with newsmen at Lahore railway station, when an elderly man threw his Peshawari Chappal at him.

The man who hurled the shoe was identified as Faqir Muhammad alias Baba Lakhpati.

On the occasion, Sheikh Rashid said that Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has shown intelligence by sending him a bouquet. He supported the decision to hold PSL final in Lahore.
