ISLAMABAD- Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Captain (retd) Safdar said that the agreement between the government and Tahreek-e-Labiak Pakistan to take out the Faizabad sit-in in the capital was made ‘somewhere else’.
Safdar made these comments without specifically hinting towards any individual or institution.
PML(N)’s leader while speaking to the media after the case hearing at the accountability court, said “had the agreement been with the government, the protesters would not have waited for 22 days. The agreement was made somewhere else,”
“It is unfortunate as in Pakistan, energy savers are in Lahore but the UPS is in Rawalpindi,” the former premier’s son-in-law said.
Captain (Retd) Safdar, also commented on the ousted Prime Minister’s disqualification, saying that he was disqualified because ‘he is made in Pakistan’. He criticized PTI while making no comments about Bilawal.
Sharif’s son-in-law has been making headlines for his controversial statements. Last month, he ignited a controversy saying that Army released Rs5k for each TLYR worker while DG Rangers distributed Rs1k only.
