ISLAMABAD (Web desk) – Very cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during next 24 hours,the Pakistan Meteorological Department reported.
Cloudy weather conditions are expected to prevail over North Balochistan (Zhob and Quetta divisions), Malakand division and Gilgit-Baltistan and there are chances of light rain-snow at one or two places in Gilgit-Baltistan on Monday. Dense foggy conditions would continue in plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh during night and morning hours. Temperature recorded on Monday morning in Islamabad was 04°C, Peshawar 07°C, Lahore 06°C, Karachi 15°C, Quetta and Murree 01°C, Muzaffarabad 09°C and Gilgit -01°C. Coldest places recorded during last 24 hours include Parachinar -07°C, Skardu, Gupis, Hunza -06°C, Kalat -05°C, Malamjabba -04°C, Rawalakot, Astore -03°C, Dir, Gilgit, Drosh -02°C and Zhob -1.0°C.
