SHAKARGARH (APP) – The Pakistan Army on Monday reciprocated the unprovoked Indian security forces firing killing at least five Indian soldiers in response to the four killed including a woman by the Indian forces in the Shakargarh and Zafarwal sectors.
Earlier, the Indian forces opened unprovoked fire and killed at least four locals including a woman while several Rangers officials and locals sustained injuries. The Rangers retaliated Indian security forces firing and killed at least five Indian security forces officials.
Shamim Akhtar of the Sakmal village, 35-year-old Mobeen from Bekay Chak, 18-year-old Azeem of Bhooray village and a resident of Makhwal village embraced martyrdom due to bombardment of Indian forces.
While, 15-year-old Waheed of Nangal, 60-year-old Khursheed, Bushra Bibi from Dera Kangra, Yaqoub from Berian Kohlian and his two daughters were injured due to the bombardment. In the Zafarwal sector, Rangers official Allah Yar and Lance Naik Ahsan also sustained injuries. However, the Rangers have evacuated dozens of localities. Moreover, the migration of the people residing in the border areas is ongoing. According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian security forces have opened unprovoked fire at least six times in the Sialkot and Zafarwal sectors since December 31.
