In the first stage, the companies, including China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom will start projects in Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Suzhou, Ningbo and other cities.
During the pilot period, the telecom giants will launch the 5G network for automatic driving, smart city, intelligent family, including car networking, and Internet of things applications.
The project will be extended to other cities Jiangxi, Hainan, Shanxi, Shandong, Zhejiang, Hebei and others if it proves to be successful.
