LOS ANGELES (Web Desk) – Hollywood star George Clooney is turning 54 on Wednesday, May 6, and he’s reportedly getting a brand new Porsche from his wife Amal Alamuddin.
The two-time Oscar-winning actor recently took a test drive in a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, and the 37-year-old barrister reportedly arranged to gift Clooney one of the first available units of the said model in the United States to replace his Porsche 911, according to The Mirror.
The said vehicle is the latest model off the production line, and comes with the tag price of 135,000 British pounds or about $205,000.
“George loves his cars. They have to be stylish and fast and he always has two,” a family source told the British newspaper of the Clooney, who also owns a 1959 red and white Chevrolet Corvette.
“Amal has been looking for the right car for him to replace his black Porsche 911 and the new one is much faster, added the source, noting that that actor “has already test-driven it for his birthday present.”
In addition to the pricey car, Amal plans to buy George a smoothie maker.
