Sabeen murder: Police seek public help, announce cash reward

 

KARACHI (Web Desk) – In a bid to track down the murderer(s) of Sabeen Mahmud, Sindh Police on Tuesday announced a cash reward for anyone coming up with tangible information related to the assassination of the rights activist.

A statement issued by Deputy Inspector General South Zone Dr Jamil Ahmed on Tuesday also held out assurances about protection of the identities of informers.

The director of The 2nd Floor (T2F) café was gunned down on April 24 around 9:20pm at a stop signal near the Central Defence Library in Karachi.

People can share any tangible information relevant to the incident at 021-99205670 and 021-99205671.

Also the Inter-Services Public Relations had condemned Mahmud’s assassination and said intelligence agencies have been tasked with assisting in the investigations.
