LAHORE – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday challenged the ban ordered by the High Court on holding jalsas in the city.
According to NEO news, PTI member Shoaib Siddiqui challenged the government order in Lahore High Court.
Sources say that on the request of PTI, Lahore High Court summoned Punjab Government on 8th May for an explanation and also called the Home secretary and Chief Secretary for explanation in the next hearing.
To increase pressure on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in reference to Panama case, PTI had prepared for jalsas in different cities of Punjab.
