Dangerous Shehbaz advises Imran to mend ties with Nawaz Sharif

RAHIM YAR KHAN –  Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif quipped on Saturday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan should make amends with former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.

Addressing an event in Khawaja Fareed University, Rahim Yar Khan, the CM Punjab rebuffed Imran’s remarks that Shehbaz was more ‘dangerous’ than his brother Nawaz Sharif, saying: “Khan sahab, did you just find out that Nawaz is honest and innocent while I am dangerous.”

He continued that if this was the situation, then he (Imran) should thaw ties with Nawaz, adding that the dangerous man will continue working for the benefit of people.

“I am a dangerous man I will continue building hospitals, roads, and universities. I will make Pakistan great again,” stressed the politician.

Taking a jibe at those demanding freedom for people of South Punjab, Shehbaz said that the said individuals were the ones who turned it into a desert during their tenures.

The president of the ruling PML-N also affirmed that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government worked tremendously for power generation in the country.

“We completed projects worth billions for power generation in the country to eradicate load-shedding” he added.

Shehbaz drew a comparison of current power crisis with the one that public faced in 2013 and asserted that the situation was much better.

The younger Sharif shared that 12 more universities will be built in Punjab.
