LONDON (Staff Report) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain’s bail in mone-laundering case has been extended for two months.
Earlier, Altaf Hussain appeared before Scotland Yard in connection with an ongoing investigation into alleged money laundering here on Monday.
The Scotland Yard had reportedly recovered around 6 lac pounds from MQM’s London secretariat and Altaf Hussain’s residence in a raid during investigation in Imran Farooq murder case.
The Scotland Yard had deferred the hearing of MQM head’s July hearing till October.
MQM leaders Tariq Mir and Muhammad Anwar would appear before the Scotland Yard on October 6 and 7 respectively.
