LAHORE (Web Desk) – Chairman Lahore Restaurant Association Kamran Sheikh has said that Pakistanis are immune to unhygienic food, adding that “no one has ever died from eating fish from Gawal Mandi”.
Sheikh termed the raids by Punjab Food Authority (PFA) as baseless and unnecessary, “PFA does not know about the basics and their staff need to be educated.”
He insisted that the food business is getting hit from these raids, “Pakistan food export will be severely affected from these raids.”
Sheikh was talking to BBC Urdu correspondent Saba Eitzaz.
