LAHORE – Punjab Government Spokesman has expressed astonishment over National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Deputy Director (DD) Chaudhry Ashgar’s conduct during recent raid at Shehbaz Sharif’s residence in Lahore.
Chaudhry Asghar, during the raid, remained seated in his car outside 96 H-Model Town – a gesture which left Dr Shahbaz Gill in surprise
In a message on Twitter, the spokesperson stated: “Strange: DD NAB Ch Asghar continuously sitting in his vehicle. even talking to media from inside his vehicle.”

Earlier today, the NAB team once again cordoned off the residence of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore.
PML-N workers and loyalists also thronged the place and clashed with the law enforcement officials after they attempted to enter the house.
Contingents of police and anti-riot force and female police officers have been also stationed outside the main gate of the house.
Additional Director NAB Chaudhry Asghar told PML-N lawyer Atta Tarrar outside the Shehbaz family residence that the NAB team should be let in to arrest Hamza Shhebaz Sharif.
“We have Hamza’s arrest warrant,” Asghar told the counsel.
