LAHORE- Pakistani cinema, ever since its revival, has brought about some amazing films. And the Hajra Yamin, Kiran Malik starrer Pinky Memsaab is no exception. The indie Pakistani film, Pinky Memsaab, which hit the cinemas last year in December has now been released on Netflix.
A UAE-based venture, the film depicts the lives of an ingenious maid, Pinky (Hajra Yamin); a beautiful socialite, Mehr (Kiran Malik); an ambitious investment banker, Hassan (Adnan Jaffar); and a cheery chauffeur, Santosh (Sunny Hinduja). The plot revolves around the story of individual journeys and struggles of Pinky and her memsaab and what consequences they face, as a result of their personal struggles.
The lead actress Hajra Yamin has also been nominated for the ‘Best Actress’ category this year in the Lux Style Awards.
Although the film was appreciated by many, it did not make much on the box office. However, Pinky Memsaab would now be available to a wider audience through Netflix.
Earlier available Pakistani films on Netflix include Janaan, Balu Mahi, Teefa in Trouble, Rangreza and Waar amongst others.
