RAWALPINDI – Two prisoners who were serving jail term in the drug-related case died under mysterious circumstances in Rawalpindi’s Adyala jail on Saturday morning.
According to media reports two prisoners who have been identified as Basharat and Abbas. Both were convicted in drug abuse case died in Adyala jail .
According to media reports, the condition of both the inmates deteriorated last night but the jail administration did not shift them to a hospital for treatment.
Basharat was in the cell at the time of death while Abbas was kept in the barrack, where both were found dead at the morning. Jail administration also confirmed their death .
After legal proceedings, both dead bodies will be handed over to their family members.
