RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) – Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, met South Africa’s army chief Lieutenant General Vusumuzi Ramakala Masondo to discuss bilateral defence ties.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the South Africa army chief lauded professional prowess and sacrifices of Pakistan army in fighting against terrorism.
Gen. Sharif also visited South Africa defence production facilities to explore possibilities of enhancing defence collaboration and training exchanges between the two countries.
Earlier, the South Africa army chief received the Chief of Army Staff upon his arrival on a 3-day official visit to African country.
General Sharif was presented 21 guns salute and guard of honour.
