Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif felicitated the nation on the joyous occasion and lauded the services of the Pakistan Army, police, Frontier Corps and other law enforcing institutions, whose Jawans (personnel) were working day and night for the defense of country.

“On the day of Eid, we cannot forget those who, for the sake of country and despite being far from their dear ones, are performing their duties on eid and spend their festivals in protecting our joys, ensuring law and order and eliminating terrorism. I on my own behalf and on behalf of the countrymen attribute all the Eid delights to them,” the Prime Minister said in his Eid-ul-Fitr message.

“I pray that Allah Almighty bless them with success at every front and they celebrate the next festival with their family and dear ones. Specially, the Jawans engaged in Zarb-e-Azb deserve praise from the whole nation. The whole nation salute their spirit,” he added.
