KARACHI – At least four people were killed while nine others were left injured in separate traffic accidents in Karachi late Friday, according to rescue members.
The first incident occurred in Liaquatabad when a van collided with an auto rickshaw leaving nine people, including women, injured.
The persons were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Sources said the wounded people received minor injuries. The collision reportedly resulted from over-speeding.
In another incident, a car rammed into a motorcycle near Sabzi Mandi on Main Super Highway. Subsequently, two people were killed in the crash.
The bodies were shifted to hospital for further formalities.
Another two people were killed in road mishap taking the overall toll to four.
