KARACHI (Online) – The Sindh government has imposed section 144 on display of arms for 90 days across the province.
According to a notification issued by the home department on Thursday, the decision has been taken on the advice of Sindh IG AD Khawaja. Under the section, people will not be allowed to display weapons, wear uniforms similar to that of security forces and drive vehicles matching colours of security forces’ vehicles.
The notification further says that private cars would not be allowed to use hooters, blue lights, fancy number plates, and tinted glasses.
