Boxer Amir Khan is “struggling” with sleep, confessing that he is “gutted” after his 30-year-old American-Pakistani wife Faryal Makhdoom announced the end of their marriage through explosive and abusive attacks on Twitter, as the pair accused each other of cheating, lying, being unfaithful and greedy.
Hours after Amir accused Faryal, the mother of his three-year-old daughter, of “moving on” with world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, he told the Sunday Mirror, “I haven’t slept all night.“
The former light-welterweight world champ, who is currently in Dubai right now, said: “I don’t know what to say. I’m gutted. I’ve not slept all night.“
“I went to see some people at the marina and I’ve been up all night. I couldn’t sleep. I need time to think. I just need to rest and to speak to some people,” he communicated to the publication.
Amir and Faryal broke up on Friday in a Twitter outburst; Faryal suggested later that their social media accounts had been hacked.
However, in a Snapchat video after Faryal blamed hackers, Amir opened up: “Everything you’ve seen on social media today is real. Me and Faryal have decided to move on, well I’ve decided to walk away. Nothing has been hacked.”

Faryal posted her first picture on Instagram since the split, sporting an off-the-shoulder top and ripped jeans.
The couple is known for having tied the knot in a high-profile wedding in 2013.
