LAHORE – Ayesha Ahad Khan, alleged former wife of Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s son Hamza, has sent a legal notice to provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah for using abusive language against her.
The notices states Khan belong to a noble family, which was now insulted after a derogatory statement by Sanaullah, adding that the victim also suffered from mental agony.
The law minister has been asked to withdraw his statement and tender an apology within 7 days. On failure, he will have to pay Rs2 billion as compensation for defaming Ayesha Khan.

Sanaullah made alleged comments after Ayesha addressed a presser on Saturday demanding a parliamentary committee for her case, similar to the one announced for probing Ayesha Gulalai’s claims.
Ahad had claimed to have been married to Hamza Shahbaz in 2010 before she was unceremoniously abandoned by her alleged spouse.
She also complained of being victimised for following her case, adding that Hamza Shehbaz is neither Sadiq nor Ameen.
Ayesha said that she would go to the Election Commission of Pakistan and declare that Hamza was not Sadiq or Ameen since he had lied.
