Three Indian actors who have shared the same surname have ruled Bollywood for decades with several comparisons drawn between them time and again over the years – Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Without a doubt, the most successful among the three Khans in recent times has been Aamir.
Recently at the trailer launch of his upcoming production Secret Superstar, Aamir was asked if he wishes for stardom like that Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan.
To that, he replied, “I am very happy in the space that I am. I think that I have a very warm relationship with my audience and it’s something that I have built over the years. It’s something that I cherish a lot and am very grateful for. There aren’t many people who can say that they have the freedom to work on something that they love. So, I am really happy, and this is the place that I want to be in.“
He further added, “I think Salman and Shah Rukh both are huge stars and I am a fan of their roles. I don’t really compare like this. Each one is unique and different.“
Aamir will be seen in Thugs of Hindostan, directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Jackie Shroff, all set to release in 2018.
