PM Nawaz expresses condolence over PIA plane crash

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of valuable lives in the unfortunate PIA ATR crash today.

Sympathising deeply with the loved ones of the passengers on the unfortunate flight, the Prime Minister said that the entire nation is deeply saddened over today's unfortunate crash and share the grief of the families who lost their dear ones.

The Prime Minister prayed to Almighty Allah to bless the departed souls with eternal peace and grant of courage to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.

The Prime Minister directed the concerned departments to provide full emergency help and assistance to the family members on the whereabouts of the unfortunate passengers and keep him updated on the evolving situation on the continuous basis.

The Prime Minister has also directed all authorities concerned to immediately reach the site and start rescue and relief operations.

PIA has been directed to establish information centres at Chitral and Islamabad airports for the families and all concerned, said a press release of the PM House issued here Wednesday.
