KARACHI – Pakistan’s famous actor, director and model Shaan Shahid lavished praise on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Chairman Imran Khan for his struggle and contribution to the political landscape of Pakistan.
In an interview with a leading news channel, the actor expressed his thoughts regarding the ongoing political environment, adding that PTI Chairman Imran Khan ‘shook up the whole political setup of Pakistan’.
The Arth 2 star continued that Imran Khan was a symbol of awareness for Pakistan adding that he ‘played his role’.
‘The political system which was targeted by Imran Khan was unbreakable and I am happy that he has been successful in his bid’ added the star.

‘There might be a major change in Pakistan in the days to come,’ said the star, expressing that for the first time, he was hopeful regarding the political realms of the country.
When asked whether he would join mainstream politics in future, the 48-year-old actor replied that he had such ambitions but hastened to add that the political parties of Pakistan needed improvement first.
The statement of Pakistan’s leading star came days after one of his fellows, the renowned television actor Sajid Hassan joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, however, another showbiz celebrity, Quratulain Baloch fired broadside at the cricketer turned politician regarding the Ayesha Gulalai texting scandal, which is yet to be investigated.
