Labourer dies after unprovoked Indian firing on LoC

RAWALPINDI – A young labourer lost his life on Tuesday as Indian security forces resorted to unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LoC), the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

Ashfaq, 25, was injured as a result of Indian firing in Khuiratta sector, and later succumbed to his injuries.

“Another innocent life lost to Indian irresponsible attitude,” said the ISPR statement.

The Indian forces on Tuesday again resorted to unprovoked firing across Line of Control, leaving one Pakistani citizen injured in violation of the ceasefire agreement, the Inter-Services Public Relations reported.

The ISPR further said that Pakistani soldiers befittingly responded to Indian aggression along the LoC.
