KARACHI – Nescafe Basement Season 5 produced by Xulfi is receiving much love from all across the country.
Nescafé Basement is a Pakistani music television series which features live studio-recorded music performances by underground artists. The artists are recruited and mentored by Xulfi, who is also the music producer of the show.
This year’s Nescafe Basement has started on a great note with some super awesome songs coming out. The first song released from Nescafé Basement was a cover of Sajjad Ali’s Larri Adda.
Season 5’s lastest track Mehbooba is creating waves for all the right reasons. Enjoying watching the refreshing nostalgia of the hit pop song Mehbooba by Ali Tariq, Hamza Tanveer, and Ali Asghar, accompanied by the trance-inducing beats and riffs of drums, saxophone, violin, guitars, bass, percussion, and rubab.

After the song went viral on the internet, the original song vocalist Haroon has applauded the brilliant attempt by the newcomers in a tweet.
In a heart-warming post, Haroon wrote, “There is nothing huge than the original artist praising your work. A great addition to our playlists in the form of ‘Mehbooba’ indeed!”
