SAHIWAL – Sahiwal Coal Power Plant, being completed at a cost of one hundred ninety-two billion rupees will generate thirteen hundred twenty megawatts electricity.
Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif stated this while talking to newsmen during his visit to Sahiwal Coal Power Plant on Sunday.
The chief minister said this is the first energy project to be completed under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and will help minimise loadshedding in the country.
Shahbaz Sharif said international standards have been met in the plant regarding environmental protection. He appreciated the work of Chinese engineers and workers in this regard.
